The House After Rain

The house always seemed to recover itself by degrees after a storm, as if each room had first to remember its own shape. The windows held a dim silver light. The rugs darkened. The important thing for this starter is not the sample prose but the structure beneath it. Each essay lives in a Markdown file. Hugo applies the layout. Netlify publishes the generated site. That is the entire machine.
